Job Description

YOU will be a Python developer who will support our team with the implementation of our GREENPASS processing pipeline. Together with other team members your tasks will include:

• implementing data processing tools
• creating tools for migrating data into databases
• analysis of simulation results
• retrieving data via REST-APIs
• creation of automatic tests

Requirements

Essential:

• education in informatics or a related fields
• strong skills in Python programming
• experience with frameworks like numpy, pandas, scipy
• organized, efficient and solution-focused method of operation
• proper english skills are a requirement, german skills are of advantage

Desirable:

• efficient handling of large data files (data streaming)
• asynchronous programming
• python web programming with django
• python database programming with django-orm and/or SQLAlchemy
• knowledge of different coordinate systems
• knowledge of spatial data and understanding of GIS related files
